The Application Process

The application process to become an ironworker is a little bit more involved than just turning in a form. Potential apprentices must attend an orientation meeting and turn in their application at that time. The dates for apprenticeship orientations and minimum qualifications are as follows:

Minimum Qualifications:

OSHA 10
High School Diploma or equivalent
18 years of age or older at time of application
Must have a driver’s license or reliable transportation
A medical evaluation is part of the selection and placement procedure
